Acclaimed coach, therapist, educator and entrepreneur, Dr. Carol McCall–CEO and Founder of The Institute for Global Listening and Communication, LLC (www.listeningprofitsu.com) has announced the launch of a NEW Webinar Program that will largely replace her already popular seminar and workshop programs. The goal is to provide her current and past clients as well as new participants with a new virtual style format—to help them not only save time, but also money.
“As the economy continues to struggle, there are people out there who still want to attend valuable workshops like this, I think my new webinar program will allow them to do just that as well as help them save a lot of time within the course of a busy work week,” says McCall.
The first 90-minute session to be offered is titled, “So You Think You’re a Good Listener” and will be presented on three consecutive dates: July 28, July 29, and July 30 (2009) NEW TIME 12p.m. – 1:30p.m. PDT/2p.m.- 3:30p.m. Central/3p.m.-4:30p.m. EDT. Dr. McCall will personally conduct the live on-line sessions. Advance registration is required. Tuition is only $99.00 and enrollment is open to the public (sign up information is provided at the conclusion of this release). Special invitations have been extended to individuals who previously attended Dr. McCall’s workshop, The Listening Course.
Dr. McCall’s Webinar is open to individuals and groups interested in improving professional and personal relationships by becoming “masterful” listeners. Skilled listeners are efficient and productive, create win-win situations, build powerful relationships, and achieve their full potential. Poor listening skills contribute to the break-down of communication, costly mistakes, and unproductive and ineffective relationships. Participants will assess their own listening skills and identify how they respond when others are speaking. They will learn alternative phrases they can use to encourage dialogue and open communication. At the close of the program, participants will create personal contracts to put them on the paths to becoming masterful listeners and powerful communicators.
Best known for her unique style of “laser” communication, Dr. McCall is free from character judgment, in which individuals turn their desires quickly into commitment and action. She has been called “natural, cutting edge, willing, caring and capable” by some of the most respected leaders in their field. She has reached more than two million individuals through her workshops, corporate clients, and performance coaching practice. A Master Certified Coach, Dr McCall holds a Ph.D. in Social Psychology, an M.A. in Community Schools, and a B.A. in Education. She is also author of the 1996 book, Listen! There’s a World Waiting to be Heard–which is still available through Amazon/Boarders (it will be going into a second print run within the months ahead).
